For those precious few who have seen Space Squid issue #1, there is a short story by Chris Roberson called “The Trouble with Superman.” It earned an honorable mention in The Year’s Best Science Fiction (although I think Chris has had actual stories in that anthology for every year subsequently). If you don’t have a copy of that issue lying around the house, you can hear it on audio here. And you will want to take a look at it, because Chris Roberson is writing the Superman comic, and according to his blog he’s more than a little excited about it.
